We offer a range of branded payment product platforms, which our financial institution clients use to develop and offer credit, charge, deferred debit, prepaid and cash access programs to cardholders. Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for managing the QA delivery across functional, automated and performance testing with strong technical skills in the areas such as Data warehousing with strong payment processing and payment gateway workflows and system knowledge to support Visa's business needs

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Lead a team of at least 10 people consisting of regular staff, contractors and consultants/vendors spread globally (each consultants/vendors have multiple resources and the total team size can be 25)
• Able to independently manage test teams for large multi year projects with teams in US, Singapore and India

He will be independently accountable in managing programs and projects across multiple groups (Open Systems, Corporate Systems, etc) having dotted line reporting into US manages (Chief/SBL's)

Manage the assigned platform and application domains through

• Planning and design
• Development and maintenance setting of standards
• Implement and manage relevant quality processes to ensure business and service objectives are met
• Provide support and consultation to other application teams in relation to assigned domains.
• Technology and product research, evaluation and impact analysis
• Strong automation scripting experience to automate front end and back end applications    
• Support the VPS Joint Venture and interact with Executive management.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• At least graduate in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
• At least 12+ years working experience in a commercial environment with strong payment processing and payment gateway knowledge
• Managed large test projects independently from start to finish following test methodology process and managing at least 25+ resource test teams
• Technical experience in client server and web technologies including Unix, Mainframes, Windows, IIS, Portal, JSP, ASP, HTML, XML, SQL, Ab Initio, Shell and Perl scripting
• Functional experience in payment processing domain and payment gateway    (authentication, settlement, billing, reporting, etc)
• Strong automation experience with VB scripting and QTP tool (atleast 4 years hands on experience)
• Strong Performance testing experience with at least 3 years hands on experience in using Load Runner
• Strong Test management and test lifecycle experience
• Managed large projects, testing offshore with business and development teams at other locations (India/US)
• Able to independently manage test teams for large multi year projects with teams in US, Singapore and India
• Systems planning, design, implementation and support experience.
• Application development experience.
• Project management experience.
• Vendor management experience.
