Our client is a major investment bank.  They have consistently remained one of the top performers in UK M&A and capital markets, and have had an  excellent 2009 to date.      

They are now looking to add people to their UK banking team. This group advises FTSE clients on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, capital markets and strategic advisory issues. The group also provides corporate broking advice to companies and they have an established list of broking clients. The team is exceptionally busy and a significant work load means that they need to add people at the analyst and associate level. 

We are interested in receiving applications from people who will have a background as follows:

- Analysts and associates from the capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate broking teams of other firms

- chartered accountants with strong corporate finance experience

- excellent communication skills

- first rate academic background

- deal and advisory sheet which will probably include substantial UK advisory experience
