THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced person with a minimum of eight years experience, who can work independently to provide Structured Finance advice to the public and private sectors. The candidate would also be required to originate new business.

THE CANDIDATE

• Experience of structured finance vehicles between the public and private sector

• Knowledge of current public sector accounting and financial regulations
• Sound understanding of basic corporate financing and feasibility studies
• Clear understanding of Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnership, Company and Joint Venture structures
• An understanding of debt, equity and mezzanine funding
• Able to present complex financial information in a concise, meaningful and accurate manner to senior management
• Legal, financial, taxation and cash flow implications of Joint Ventures
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Ability to originate new consulting business
• Understanding of IRR, NPV, WACC and Cash Cascades/ Waterfalls
• Understanding of Local Asset Backed Vehicles (LABV) and Local Housing Companies (LHC)
• An understanding of property investment and development.
• Negotiation of complex financial structures 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Outstanding academic history
• A numerate degree in either property, finance or accounting.
• FSA Approved Person or CFA an advantage

• Experience in creating structured finance vehicles/joint ventures
• A property background in the investment/development/regeneration sectors
• Strong financial and analytical background
• Experience of working with the public and private sectors 
• Track record in originating new business
