This global investment banking organisation is a major employer in this region and offers excellent career progression as well as a diverse and challenging working environment.

The finance function within the bank is primarily responsible for external financial reporting requirements including regulatory reporting and has overall responsibility for the financial control framework. Due to team expansion a role exists at both the Analyst and AVP level within the regulatory reporting space.

You will be responsible for regulatory returns within the group, incorporating preparing the returns and responding to queries on returns lodged. You will also be involved in improving the current systems and processes and driving change in order to assist the transition from the current status to a more strategic IT process. At the same time you will be required to enhance current processes to ensure transparency and control is maintained. 

You will ideally be a qualified accountant with a strong background in banking gained either within the Big 4 or an investment bank. 2+ years post qualification experience would be an advantage as would strong regulatory/MAS reporting experience and good IFRS knowledge. A confident and professional character is a pre requisite.
