This global investment banking organisation is a household name and one of the most high-profile employers in the region.

Internal Audit is a highly-rated function within the bank and is considered an outstanding entry point into the business, offering the auditors wide exposure across all the products and a chance to gain an in depth understanding of the bank's operations.

You will support the Audit Manager in scoping the audit, document allocated processes and identify, assess & document risks and controls within these processes. You will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls & document this in the audit report, writing high quality audit observations and support the Audit Manager in writing the report.

You should also provide suggestions to management for actions to address the control issues identified and discuss and agree the factual accuracy of audit observations with auditees.

The successful candidate will ideally have around 4-6 years experience and currently be an internal auditor within an investment bank but candidates still within a Big 4 environment will also be considered. You will understand the control, regulatory and risk issues in investment banking and display familiarity and knowledge of investment banking products/markets. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are a pre-requisite.
