Quantitative Analyst - Algorithmic Trading

UBS Investment Bank is seeking qualified candidates for Quantitative Analyst/Trader. This is a critically important role within the UBS Fixed Income, Commodities and Currency Algorithmic Trading team. This is a business team responsible for the development and implementation of high frequency trading and risk management algorithms.

You will be responsible for analysing and improving existing algorithms in collaboration with senior team-members. You will initiate research into novel trading and risk management ideas and implement new trading and risk management algorithms. Your strong technical skills will support existing analytical infrastructure and production environment

It is essential to hold a masters or PhD level education or international equivalent in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Signal Processing, Engineering, Computer Science or related field along with in-depth knowledge and proven experience of R/S-plus or Matlab. Existing working financial knowledge is preferred along with excellent communication skills.
