Due to internal mobility a challenging and pivotal role has arisen within the finance function of the investment banking business with a focus cost analysis and reporting. 

Working closely with department heads, the successful candidate will take responsibilty for analysing the investment banking cost base and providing commentary on cost variances for the group support functions.    

You will manage an established team of 2 and possess the credibility to act as a business partner to your stakeholders, making recommendations on managing costs and implementing strategic initiatives. 

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant with over 10 years experience and have a strong management/cost accounting background within a banking environment. Management skills are considered a pre-requisite as is the presence to manage a strong team.
