Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to instil and maintain a high quality sales focus and service culture
- Oversee all new business to the team to ensure it fits the bank's strategic initiatives, values and business programmes
- Develop relationships with internal and external referral partners to identify, develop and deliver profitable product offerings
- Manage the relationship of a small portfolio of key clients
- Develop new business according to agreed targets - to include promoting the growth of the bank's established investment management product to appropriate clients
Management Responsibilities
- Participate as active member of bank's leadership team to shape future strategy and business programmes
- Devise systems and procedures that mitigate risk whilst maintaining superior client service standards
- Ensure routine compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory and best practice standards
- Undertake performance management and competency assessment of direct reports
Required Skills/Attributes
- Proven track record of generating new wealth management business including assets under management, regulated mortgages and deposits
- Extensive private banking experience at team/senior management level
- Ability to help shape strategy and deliver successful results
- Competency in managing teams of relationship bankers
- Effective communication and presentation standards
