Our client, a global financial services firm, is looking to secure an experienced securities professional to join the team as Corporate Actions Manager to manage their Global custody business. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Actions Manager, key responsibilities will include: 

• Planning, managing and controlling the corporate action operations of the Securities Services-Global Custody and Global Asset Management to meet the standards set out in service level agreements.
• Safeguarding the company and it’s customers from potential risk and financial loss.
• Ensuring adherence to regulations, guidelines and procedures that govern operations.
• Ensuring that the SEC maintains a high standard of customer service delivery
• Contributing towards the continuous improvement of operations efficiency and productivity as well as development and performance of the team.

Requirements for the role include:

• University degree holder with at least 10 years’ experience in corporate actions and nominees operations.
• Knowledge in global equities, bond and structured products.
• Excellent judgment and decision making ability.
• Able to lead a large team and drive optimal performance while inspiring trust and developing others.
• Able to work with others, build effective working relationships and instill a strong team spirit.
• Highly committed, with strong drive and the motivation to achieve collective goals.
• Membership of the Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI) is an advantage.
