Our client is a leading investment bank. Its successful structured credit business has a “Change the Bank” team which is responsible for delivering strategic and significant tactical change for its Product Control Group. This is a dynamic and fast-moving business, resulting in a significant portfolio of initiatives for finance and the front office.

Business growth and significant change initiatives have resulted in the need to grow the team with a number of consultants, business analysts and project managers. The team acts as an internal consultancy and works closely with the Front Office, IT and Operations.

You will currently be working with a major investment bank or consultancy firm and have significant experience of change initiatives for product control within a structured product environment, involved with:

• Analysis of business requirements for new products, ranging from front-to-back IT infrastructure to business process changes.
• Delivery of desk-sponsored changes to risk management systems.
• Delivery of both process and system change for product control.
• Experience of major business restructuring such as transitioning between platforms and restructuring across regions.
• Analysis of changes in valuation methodologies with desk quants, traders and MRC/QRC control functions.

As part of this team, you will work on a diverse range of projects as well as working on multiple projects at any one time. Projects can range from implementations taking a week or two through to the definition and delivery of more lengthy strategic solutions. The role provides exposure to the full project lifecycle from a product control viewpoint, including involvement and ownership of project initiation phases, requirements gathering and  testing and deployment.
