Responsibilities:

Manage global FID research technology team to execute overall global development strategy and to provide vital day-to-day support for our research activities. Detailed responsibilities include, but not restrict to:

- Build and manage 3 regional teams located in US, UK and Asia, as well as off-shore team from India and from China.

- Responsible for high critical business deliverables –oversight project plans, statuses, maintaining issue and risk registers, driving the agenda with business sponsors.

- Provide hands on technical leadership (technology choice, application architecture) for projects in flight.

- Produce strategic plans for future build out of applications in the Research space.

- Partner closely with Research Divisional Managers in defining business requirements and technology solutions

- Define and maintain developing operating models for support, on and off-shore development.

- Able to attract and retain talented people to grow the team in proportion to the demands from global research division.

Requirements:

- Sound product knowledge in Fixed Income area, particularly in the research area.

- 10+ years in IT in Investment Banking with at least 5+ years in a global leadership role

- A history of accomplishment and tracking record in building up strong technology team as well as delivering business solutions, both tactic and strategic.

- Strong people and project management experience; comfortable with managing multiple projects and application teams for both on-shore and off-shore.

- Hands-on in driving application architecture and design, apply current technology to projects    

- Bilingual communication skill in both English and Japanese is a major plus.
