The Product Development Manager will be responsible for analyzing, developing and managing Zawya's online financial information and analytics products from idea stage through to inception. The primary responsibility of this position involves working with product owners, potential users and IT resources to develop and produce high quality online financial information services and analytics. Candidate must have a strong financial background.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                             

• Develop original ideas with product owners and users.
• Create product specifications that define the scope of product, requirements of prototype, and deliverables/milestones.
• Perform content and technical due-diligence to identify technology solutions for all products.
• Identify, create, develop, direct, budget, schedule and manage entire development process, ensuring that the goals of the project-quality, timelines, and budget are met.
• Manage the product development cycle to enable the timely and cost effective production of product deliverables.
• Oversee bug reporting with operations, developers, content and product owners.
• Direct approval and delivery of the product to customers.
• Create presentation materials to communicate products to both internal audiences and external customers.
• Lead and develop the skills of the team, consisting of approximately 6 staff, based in Dubai & Beirut.

Required Qualification/Skills:

• Finance and market data background is a must with a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven track record in developing financial information products and analytics.
• Strong analytical, technical, creative and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to build and develop a strong team.
• Proven extensive project management experience (PMP certification preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of executives,
  management, administrative staff; outstanding presentation & speaking skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities, ability to troubleshoot and provide feedback, guidance and solutions for product development plans a must.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the internet required.
