Freight Investor Services, the leading independent brokerage for freight and commodity derivatives, is seeking a dynamic and experienced broker for fertilizer swaps covering the US market from its Stamford, Connecticut branch office.

The FIS fertilizer swap uses the benchmark Fertilizer Index for settlement on the most liquid markets and allows participants to hedge or take positions in the forward market. The swap leverages a well-established and a growing client base which includes some of largest trading companies in the world.

Most recently, we have introduced central counterparty clearing through the London Clearing House bringing transparency and credit risk management to the market.

It is a developing market , with significant capacity for growth. We are looking for a high calibre, highly-motivated and experienced broker to join our team working to develop this emerging commodity market.

You will have proven broking experience in the commodity space, and a track record in identifying and converting clients into retained customers.
