A successful hedge fund is looking for an outstanding candidate to head their technology infrastructure to support their rapid growth. (Networking/Storage/Database/Security).

This will suit an existing Head of Infrastructure in small hedge fund/trading house or a hands on infrastructure architect looking for their next progressive step.

Key skills

  • Superb technical background in IT infrastructure covering Networking LAN/WAN (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN etc), Desktop build & configuration, Storage (SANS, NAS etc).
  • A proven record of working directly with front office traders.  You must have experience working in a front office environment ideally with a hedge fund and will probably have a record of success in a leading global bank.  An entrepreneurial approach is definitely relevant.
  • The ability to build a team around yourself, manage budgets etc..  There is massive potential for growth and you will be responsible for heading the global infrastructure for the fund, reporting directly into the CTO.
  • Exceptional education – in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or a related subject.
