Our client, an internationally focused, integrated Carbon Asset Management Company is seeking a Project Finance Manager to help further develop their SE Asia operations. The Project Finance Department provides cost-effective solutions for project developers to meet their financing requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills; Have the ability to work autonomously; Be capable of interacting at the highest level with project promoters and technology providers; Assess and present early stage project opportunities to senior management; Create and maintain relationships with project developers, technology providers, government bodies and local financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Based in Singapore as part of the wider SE Asian team, the successful candidate will;

•    Originate carbon and renewable energy opportunities in South East Asia as well as supporting the business development of CDM projects in the region;
•    Develop a pipeline of project finance opportunities;
•    Collate project information and documentation;
•    Conduct due diligence and risk assessment;
•    Develop market and sector knowledge;
•    Identify potential collaborations and partnerships;

The successful candidate will ideally have;

•    At least 3-5 years experience in renewable energy project development and financing;
•    An exceptional academic background with ideally an Engineering related discipline;
•    MBA is highly advantageous;
•    Strong knowledge of the renewable energy and carbon sectors, regulations, incentives, and government bodies;
•    An excellent command of English and two local languages.
