Global markets technology specialist

Strong Project Management and leadership skills required

Operations and Risk focus

ANZ Global Markets delivers innovative product solutions across foreign exchange, capital markets, interest rates, commodities, derivatives, as well as specialist research and risk management expertise. Reporting to the Global Head of Markets Technology and delivering services to its key client, Global Markets, your key responsibilities will be:

• Assume responsibility of all back office and risk systems (including market risk) for Global Markets Technology;
• Provide major systems under the control of this position include Murex, Algorithmics, Midanz, ABS Securitisation;
• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues to enable objectives to be achieved (a team of 80+ across different countries);
• Provide ongoing support for these platforms as well as their evolution;

Skills

Ideally degree qualified you will have a number of years experience having worked in an Investment Bank or Global Markets in their IT/back office domain, especially with Structured Products in Markets. To be successful you will have demonstrated leadership, engagement and influencing capabilities, having operated at senior stakeholder level. The ability to influence and direct large teams across multiple geographies will also be highly regarded.
