With over 100 professionals, Ernst & Young Luxembourg has the largest local specialized and dedicated Private Equity team offering the broadest range of services in that industry. Our Private Equity professionals audit a large portfolio of private equity funds and vehicles and advise General Partners on valuation, reporting, operational procedures, perform buyer and vendor due diligences, offer transaction tax services, advise Luxembourg custodians and administrators in the implementation of Private Equity services in terms of accounting and operational procedures, Private Equity software selection and customized training. Our Luxembourg client base includes both the World's leading Private Equity houses and small or medium sized players.

Responsibilities

• Work for our PE Business Development and Product & Account Development team.
• Contribute to develop strong relations with Private Equity practitioners and service providers in Luxembourg and abroad to develop the acquisition of new clients through proposals drafting and monitoring of outstanding proposals, managing client relationship in a timely manner, assist in the development of new templates as required.
• Support PE Business and Product & Account Development internally by preparing and coordinating sales and account development initiatives.
• Actively contribute to E&Y market leadership-related activities.
• Be connected and liaise with the worldwide Ernst & Young Private Equity Group.
• Report directly to and work closely with the Associate Directors responsible for PE Business Development and PE Product & Account Development.
• Fully dedicated to the Private Equity practice.

Qualifications and skills

• Two to three years of work experience in the fund industry with proven track record.
• Exposure to the Private Equity industry (such as through the work at a Big 4, Fund Administrator, Bank, Law Firm or PE House) and knowledge of the Luxembourg market are key advantages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of excel and power point.
• Strong academic qualification in Business Administration. Particular background in Finance/Audit is a key advantage.
• Highly motivated in taking an active part in the 'entrepreneurial' context of a dynamic and growing Private Equity practice requiring flexibility, ability to work independently as well as in team, high degree of reliability and responsiveness.
• Attached to continuous learning and committed to career development.
• Full proficiency in English. French, German and any other language is a key advantage.
