Responsibilities



To provide internal credit estimates for unrated corporate loans, 2nd lien, mezzanine and bond transactions requested by CDO Asset Managers for inclusion in CDO and CLO portfolios rated by Moody's. - Complete credit estimates of predominantly leveraged finance issuers using Moody's established methodologies. - Complete annual updates of credit estimates within CDO/CLO portfolios Maintain relationships with CDO/CLO asset managers - Coordinate on policy and operational initiatives with Moody's Structured Finance Group and other Analytical Teams within Moody's Corporate Finance Group.

Experience



- Proven credit analysis experience or related experience from a recognised financial institution or an audit firm - Solid understanding of cash-flow lending techniques - Financial/statistical research capabilities - Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills - Well developed IT skills including advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications



- Strong academics with BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in a Mathematical and/or Economic subject - Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA and or CIMA/ACCA) would be highly beneficial

- Desire to exceed client expectations - Good communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing. - Sound judgment - able for form and present findings - Able to work to tight deadlines and manage own workflow/priorities accordingly - Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrable research skills - Ambitious and highly motivated/keen to identify and pursue opportunities for self development - Able to work using own initiative and without close supervision - Willingness to travel across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region when necessary

Languages



Fluency in English essential; additional languages are advantageous
