Quantitative Trading Hedge Fund require an exceptional quantitative researcher with outstanding coding skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to develop methods and tools to discover new trading models in a highly automated way.  This person will be part of a newly formed team working alongside senior researchers and advising portfolio managers. 

The results found by the team will be used in real trading strategies.  In addition to excellent programming skills, outstanding problem solving skills and a strong work ethic are a must.

Experience in writing code in C++ as well as scripting languages is required.  Exposure to: data mining, machine learning, optimization, statistics, econometrics, finance are desired.  Excellent UNIX/Linux skills and SQL skills are also a plus.

At least a bachelor's degree (master preferred) in computer science, computer engineering, or similar engineering field is required.

This firm reward extremely competitively offering above market base salaries and very attractive bonus structure, however only exceptional candidates will be suitable as the bar is very high.
