Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Bank Group’s correspondent banking relationship and needs across all products and division of the Bank; including cash, & trade.
  • Maximise cost savings and rebates by consolidating the Bank’s buying decisions across the network.
  • Serve as the “independent buyer” of services from other banks.
  • Manage, consolidate & facilitate the definition of the Bank’s needs and requirement for services.
  • Keep abreast of market and industry changes that may impact the Bank’s services & inform the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Establish a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) with the service providers and Operations to minimise impact on the business during a crisis.
  • Represent department for special projects pertaining to systems and operations issues
     

Reporting to: Head, Relationship Support

Requirements:

  • A good University degree
  • At least 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience
  • Good knowledge of treasury, cash management, and trade products
  • Possess strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Highly results-oriented
  • Meticulous, and organized
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
