An exciting role exists within the IB Technology Division of J.P Morgan in a dynamic, challenging client-facing global team, requiring a depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge supporting mission critical trading applications used by the Commodities, Risk, B&R, Credit, Rates, eTrading and FX & Currencies Divisions.

The Role:

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to get exposure to a variety of different roles within the team, and receive both on the job and classroom based training on the following technologies, roles and skills:

• LINUX, UNIX, WINTEL, Sybase, Oracle & MSQL


• Demand & Capacity Management


• Project Management


• Financial & Business Training

Skills

The ideal candidate will be degree educated (IT or Engineering) and have excelled communication skills. In addition they should be:

• experience in one of the following technologies is desirable: Sybase, Unix, Linux, WINTEL, SQL, Perl


• a strong team player


• accurate - ability to follow process and attention to detail is essential


• able to analyze and resolve problems


• work as part of a regional and global team


• an enthusiastic self starter with a desire to work alongside like-minded people


• flexible - weekend, shift and evening work is a requirement of a role
