Our client is a European based Insurance Company. They are looking for following position to join their Internal Audit Team.
Internal Audit - Manager
Duties:
- Report directly to Senior Management & lead a team to perform internal audit functions for GI and/or Life business
- Actively audit & identify high risk areas in major business change projects
- Manage audit scope and progress and ensure adherence to Global Audit Standards and local operating procedures manual
- Contribute to ongoing development of the audit function through programs such as Centers of Expertise and Global Themed Audits.
- Assist in the recruitment & coaching of new team members.
- Assist in the risk-based annual and quarterly audit planning
- Travel within Asia Pacific region is required
Job requirements:-
- Degree holder with professional qualification
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience with solid exposure to General and/ or Life Industry gained from in-house internal audit role or Big 4 professional firm
- Good understanding of GI and/ or Life Industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments
- Experience of leading audit assignments
- Strong knowledge in risk management and internal controls review & monitoring
- Good command of both oral and written English, with the ability to speak and write a second Asian language strongly desirable
