My client is a global leader in credit and consumer services and they are seeking an AVP of Analytical Services. This role will function as a senior member of a team dedicated to becoming a leader in providing solutions for the mortgage and secondary markets.

Overview:

The AVP of Analytical Services will work with all levels of management to drive business and revenue opportunities and provide senior management with valuable industry/market and customer driven insight to be leveraged in business planning and product development. 

The person in this role will be actively involved in client engagements offering sales support and influencing customer testing and adoption.  This requires a deep understanding of secondary markets to to identify opportunities to deploy, package, or create company assets for the mortgage and secondary markets.  This includes idea generation, creation of supporting analytics, identification of value proposition and development of position statements/context.  Also identify, evaluate, and work with third parties for the overall business plan, manage across virtual teams and communicate effectively with senior management. 

Duties Include:

- Use secondary market experience to identify efforts that support client assets and capital markets solutions.  Design and development of supporting analysis and active participation creating value propositions, position statements and other supporting collateral.

-Participate in the joint sales and/or product planning activities within capital markets vertical and other business leaders.  Track emerging industry, market and/or technology trends within the mortgage and secondary markets and assist senior management in aligning firm direction to the industry direction.

-Work closely in selling firm assets through analytical/technical support within proposals, client meetings, conference calls and presentations.  Provide market level thought leadership to position firm as a leading and knowledgeable provider of business solutions in these markets.  Provide consulting advice and best practices to prospects as part of the consultative selling process.  Easily and effectively relate existing and planned solutions to customer's strategies.  Develop rapport with prospects, customers and sales support team.

-Develop case studies, capabilities documents, white papers, and articles as well as participate/present at industry or customer forums.  Also, create roadmaps, reference materials and otehr documentation to enhance knowledge and increase understanding of key analytcial solutions and capabilities.

-Demonstrate a results based ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer needs/deadlines.  Flexible in working evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

-10 + years of experience in secondary markets, in the areas of analytics, modeling, research and valuation.

-A Master's in Statistics or mathematics, business, finance, economics, or similar.

-Experience developing and/or designing statistical/ econometric or comparable modeled solutions and/or similar empirical analysis.

-Product and process management experience is required

-In-depth knowledge of tools, software and technology platforms available in secondary markets, direct experience in use of competitive offerrings strongly desired.

-Experience with 1010 and SAS
