Working in over 100 countries around the world, this business operates across varied services lines and has one of the worlds most recognisable brands. In Australia, its service offering is predominately in the financial services sector offering responsible finance solutions to both consumer and commercial clients.
Due to an internal move, a role has arisen in the central financial planning and analysis team. In this pivotal corporate role, supporting key business areas including Risk and Corporate, you will be responsible for providing monthly and quarterly analysis of business performance (revenue and loss). You will also provide a consolidated view of the outcomes of key measurements and metrics and liaise closely with the group leader, the business management team and CFO. Importantly, you will support and add value to key business stakeholders in their balance sheet and P&L reviews and drive and facilitate growth discussions in conjunction with other analysts and the management team. You will also be involved in market analysis, new product viability analysis, margin reporting and competitor analysis.
Key to success in this role are not only your superior analysis and reporting skills, but also your ability to communicate financial information and be able to present to a senior audience as well as non-finance colleagues. The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and have a proven track record in management accounting / financial analysis. Your background will ideally be from a Financial Services organisation, or you will have worked closely within a Risk environment, therefore have a sound understanding of the key metrics and challenges facing this type of business. You will be a team player, a self starter, be able to demonstrate initiative and confidence in dealing with people at all levels.
In return you will not only work with likeminded and motivated colleagues, but also have the opportunity to carve a career with one of the world's most well known employers with an enviable employee value proposition.
