Our client, a global investment bank, is looking for an infrastructure manager to oversee all aspects of China IT infrastructure and manage local teams and vendors to provide global support.

Responsibilities include:

• Management/Leadership of local IT Infrastructure staff on provision of services to local China and global infrastructure functions.
• Liaise with regional/global colleagues to establish appropriate staffing model to meet global requirement.
• Managing vendors and contracts for any local third party systems and technical support services
• Managing technology infrastructure deployment, integration, support and administration, in existing or new offices/operations
• Working with Internal Audit and local regulators and officials as required
• Establishing strong formal procedures for operational support and risk management
• Working with regional/global colleagues on various business and financial management responsibilities
• Domestic and some international travel will be required as part of the job

Skills Required:

• Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in the IT industry
• Previous work experience in China would be preferred
• Strong experience/understanding of the financial services and banking industry ideal
• Strong Networking, PC and/or UNIX/Linux skills
• Strong people and project management skills
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong coordination and negotiation skills
• Fluent written and spoken Mandarin language skills
• Very good written and spoken English language skills
• Customer focused
