My client is an Investment Bank which is at the forefront of designing and creating variable annuity products for insurance companies.

My client is an Investment Bank which is at the forefront of designing and creating variable annuity products for insurance companies. They structure and set up the products and help implement them into insurance companies whilst managing and mitigating the risk. The business has been growing quite rapidly and they now wish to hire an Actuary to add further expertise into the team. The ideal candidate will understand the regulatory framework of specific countries (UK, US or Europe) and will be able to understand how particular structures will be treated by the regulator and what effect this will have on the hedging and insurance side of the trade. The role is a mixture of sales and structuring to make sure the products work both for the bank and the insurance company they partner with. You could come from either an insurance company or a consultancy with specific exposure to variable annuity products and are very likely to be at a senior level.
