In this newly created role, you will be responsible for establishing the Risk Model Governance function and leading the validation of all credit risk rating models (including scorecards, impairment, internal rating and stress testing).
In addition you will lead the process to align all models and methodologies across the organisation, ensuring that model developments and enhancements are compliant. You will need to define and implement a framework for the delivery of risk model oversight across the division and for all risk types, promoting and building commitment and trust with key stakeholder groups and ensuring a good understanding of model developments and appropriate model governance.
Finally, you will be accountable for managing the performance of a team of risk professionals, ensuring their contribution is maximised and their potential reached.
You will need to demonstrate a track record of successfully influencing and working with colleagues who are based remotely, and of performing effectively across multiple countries and cultures. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge established norms without alienating colleagues will be key to your success and you will require the stature and credibility to inspire confidence at group level.
This is an exceptional opportunity to develop a new function within a challenging risk and integration environment, creating a robust model governance framework across all product groups.
