Physical commodities trading house seeks Head of Energy Quantitative Analytics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a front-office analytics desk where the main responsibilities would be developing pricing models as well as trading strategies for the energy prop desk,

Product exposure would encompass crude oil/refined products as well as developing a power/gas/coal analytics desk.

Applicants must have an exceptional quantitative background with an extensive understanding of energy products with embedded optionality. This would typically come from having worked as an energy analyst at a producer/utility/investment bank.

Previous managerial experience is also beneificial as the role will involve building/managing a team of quants.
