Development Value:
Risk models are becoming more and more a key requirement for institutions managing and reporting risk on financial instruments, especially since many countries have a regulatory requirement to report their risk. This is an opportunity for someone to learn about how risk models are created and applied in the real world. As APT risk models use all types of market instruments and their various terms and conditions and data types, production staff gain an excellent grasp of instruments in general. We source and use data from many large reputable market data vendors which you would find used in most financial services companies dealing with investible financial instruments. APT uses many standard technologies such as SQL amongst others which mean that all APT staff are well versed in latest technologies. We provide initial training as well as on going on the job training to help the post holder succeed in the role.
