This role is to join a top tier investment bank in the Global Quantitative FX Analytics Group. We are searching for exceptionally talented individuals with solid programming and development experience, an academic and practiced understanding of the Foreign Exchange markets and a real drive to create cutting edge solutions to FX trading markets.

You will be working on the implementation of numerical techniques and models in C++.  Therefore a statistical and mathematical background/education is highly beneficial. Working directly for the analytics group you fall under front office head count. This differentiates this role from positions where you work alongside the Quant group for an IT function. (The annoyance of many quant developers looking to gain more business exposure)

You will be joining a small group of 8 Quant developers and 5 Analyst's. The trading environment is obviously fast paced and dynamic, we are looking for someone of real grounding in this market who will be able to drive the business forward.

It is well known that strong Quant developers are hard to come by, therefore my client are willing to pay extremely well for the right individual. If you can demonstrate a level of skill and understanding in both programming and financial awareness you can expect remuneration over £100,000
