Our client is an independent private equity fund, who sources, evaluates and manages a global portfolio of private equity fund investments and direct co-investments, currently managing over 2 billion in private equity commitments in fund of funds and separately managed accounts. They invest globally in buyout and venture capital funds and direct co-investments and also have an allocation to secondary investments.
As a result of recent reorganization, our client is looking to hire in the capacity of a Manager, Fund / Investor Operations. The role of Manager, Fund / Investor Operations is set to assume responsibility for all accounting and operations functions for the Investor Operations Group including investor and portfolio investment accounting, cash management and expense processing. He/she will be accountable for making key contribution in supporting ongoing business building in the Investor Operations function to support their continued growth and work closely with the financial reporting, tax and systems group within Investor Operations to provide support and information.
The Manager, Fund / Investor Operations will handle investor fund accounting, record keeping and reconciliation, investment portfolio accounting and transaction management, cash management including monitoring forecasting transaction processing and reconciliation, and expense tracking management and reconciliations. He/she will also be responsible for fund operations business building and leading a team in their day-to-day activities of fund accounting and investment portfolio operations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
As a strong candidate for this critical, high profile role, you will have professional designation as well as progressive prior experience in an accounting or operations role within private equity. Proven expertise with INVESTRAN will be a real asset for success. Strong organizational skills are required and you will be process-oriented. The ability to multitask and work with varied deadlines as well as manage change is required. You will also have strong relationship management skills.
