Our client is a large international banking group. With strong commitment to their business, major projects in upgrading and enhancement of their global IT financial systems are ready to kick off.  

As a (Sr) Business Analyst in this newly created team, you will be the prime contact between financial business users and IT departments. You will be expected to collect business requirements through work closely with business users and translate the requirement into IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users around the region to identify and collect business requirements
• Liaise with IT development teams and any related parties to define systems specification requirements, procedure and workflow, and define best practice
• Define and develop functional specifications
• Monitor closely with development teams through out project life cycle, ensure deliverables match defined requirements
• Develop and maintain proper documents and reports, track closely with project progress
• Develop and execute UAT

Requirements:

• University degree in IT or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of total work experience in which at least 5 of relevant experience in leading banking and finance institute or IT consulting firms
• Good business knowledge in account and financial, GL, treasury, etc
• Good technical knowledge in Mainframe/COBOL application environment
• Proven experience in large scale regional project
• Flexible, self initiate, and willing to take up new responsibilities through out project cycle
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Candidates with strong business consultation background are highly regarded
• Expericne in develop and define best practice is regarded
• Fluency in spoken and written English
