The business unit Trading and Portfolio Management is an active trader on all of Europe's energy markets and the number one trader of continental gas (TTF & Zeebrugge) and power (France, Holland, Belgium).  By actively managing GDF SUEZ's positions in power, natural gas and other related energy products, they play a central role within the company by optimising GDF SUEZ's European portfolio. The Central Portfolio Management team develops and offers the most innovative products and services to our customers by combining physical delivery, transmission access and financial instruments to ensure that our customers get the cheapest energy prices. 

The Commercial Trading Desk (Fuels) at Electrabel is managing all fuel related exposures and flows within Electrabel GDF SUEZ. We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Trader - Fuels that excels in our international team.  

Mission 

As Commercial Trader - Fuels, you will be responsible for :

• Pricing profiles for our internal and external customers
• Proactively developing strategies and advising our internal customers
• Developing tools and procedures for the Commercial Trading Desk
• Executing orders in the market in an accurate and timely manner
• Warehousing risks of the fuel book (Crude oil, Fueloil, Gasoil)

 Profile 

• You have 3 to 5 years experience in trading
• You have a minimum of 1 year fuel market experience
• You have a master's degree in economically focused or quantitative discipline (e.g. applied economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, or similar)
• You are analytical and have good knowledge of Excel/VBA
• You are able to perform in stressful circumstances with tight deadlines
• You demonstrate a strong sense of accuracy and are performance driven
• You are customer-oriented  and communicate in a pro-active and clear manner
• You are a team player
• You are fluent in English
• You are flexible in working hours
