Business Analyst Treasury for the holding company of one of the world's largest listed insurance groups ranked by market capitalization and assets. 
This job is located at the Group Treasury department and acts as a liaison between the holding companies and business units to manage both internal and all external funding, cash management, and the capital adequacy levels of the individual countries and the Group. Furthermore, the Group Treasury department manages currency and interest rate risks.



Functieomschrijving Business Analyst Treasury

Group Treasury consists of four departments: Treasury & Corporate Finance, Compliance, Control & Reporting, Capital Management and Treasury Operations & Support. Group Treasury also acts as an in-house bank for the Company's global operations.
The Group Treasury Operations & Support department is responsible for the daily operations of Treasury. This concerns the confirmation with the (external) counterparties of a wide variety of financial instruments and the payment and accounting processing and reconciliation for these.
In the Support section of Group Treasury Operations we are looking for a Business Analyst Treasury / Systems Specialist.

The department currently is composed of a mixed team (9 fte's). To keep in line with the expansion of workload and responsibilities of the department, they are currently looking for an enthusiastic colleague in the Support section of Group Treasury Operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinator of Treasury systems:
  - ensure systems are functioning properly
  - lay down standards for systems use and maintenance (availability, effectiveness, security and authorization)
  - determine and coordinate necessary maintenance
  - propose improvements as required
  - manage implementation and other (IT-) projects, including testing new releases and upgrades


• Interface between users, providers and support units:
  - respond to needs of users
  - communication with external providers and internal support
  - training and instructing users about information systems and related projects
  - participate proactively in user groups and projects 


•  Reporting and data management:
  - create and automate periodical reports based on user specifications
  - draw up user manuals and process descriptions
  - manage and control data (secure integrity, completeness and authorized use of automated databases)
  - ad-hoc reporting


• Operational and analytical activities:
  - expense budgeting and analysis
  - monitor performance of external providers and internal support

Functiecriteria Business Analyst Treasury

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology, affinity with financial management is preferred


• Minimum of three years of (relevant) working experience


• Proficient in Dutch and English, both in writing and verbally


• Preference for working experience within financial institution or treasury environment
