To manage the treasury for 46 currencies across SG Paris (all branches), SG London (SGCIB) and to act on behalf of other subsidiaries.

• The work is shared between London and Paris and rotated monthly.
• In case of crisis, the ‘second’ site will resume responsibility for all activities.

Main Responsibilities
• To calculate and communicate all projected balances by currency (46) and by entity (5) to the Treasurers
• To monitor all advices and flows until their cut-offs with or without penalties
• Extra vigilance required for EUR and USD.
• To be the point of contact for the Front Office
• To correspond between internal clients and Front Office
• To liase with DPDI (one retail banking department) to centralize the Euro treasury advices and check how they impact SGPM in the Central Bank
• To adhere to and follow the Euro Minimum Reserve requirements.
• Follow Euro prioritized payments.
• Not a management position

Degree of Autonomy
• Each person in the team is in charge of some currencies and is responsible for communicating the right position to treasurers

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Past Experience
• Preferable experience would be in the investment banking arena, within a back office, treasury team

Languages
• Fluent English
• French an advantage

Technical Skills
• The ability to work efficiently but effectively
• One must react immediately to all information received.
• Flexibility is key as the manner that Euro is handled is different to the other currencies.
