Summary
This role will be within the new Client Services Team providing HR administration support to all HR generalist teams as well as being the contact point for all SG employees. Each team member of the Client Services Team will develop one or multiple fields of expertise to ensure HR issues are managed in accordance with SG’s HR policies and within regulatory and legal frameworks.
The team requires someone who adopts a flexible working style, has attention to detail, is pro-active and can cope with a demanding client base.
Main responsibilities
Responsible for the entire administration process of an employee life cycle, including but not limited to:
o Joiners, Leavers, Maternity/Paternity/Parental leave, Transfers, Absence monitoring, Work permits, Flexible working requests.
•Coordination of background screening
•Answer day-to-day employee queries in an accurate and timely manner
•Organising (and chairing) meetings, including but not limited to:
oRecruitment, Maternity, Exit interviews, Compliance background screening, Induction, Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, Involvement in ad-hoc projects.
Internal & external contacts
•Constant contact with SG employees and SG managers
•Operational HR teams in both London and Paris
•Other HR teams in London
•Legal department for employment law advice, where necessary
•Compliance department for FSA approved roles and background screening
•Outsourced suppliers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
•Bachelor degree with intention to pursue a career in HR
Past experience
•Relevant experience in an administration role, ideally gained in an HR environment in the Finance sector

•Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word and Excel
