One of the Portfolio Managers is seeking a junior analyst to work within a Quantitative Global Macro team.  The candidate will assist the PM in maintaining and evolving current strategies, as well as developing new ones.  He/she will also be involved in the daily management of the strategies.

The ideal candidate should possess an advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in finance, financial engineering, economics or operations research, and up to two years of work experience.  In addition, the candidates should have advanced programming skills in Matlab, SAS, SQL and VBA.

He/she should be familiar with financial databases and be able to handle data and coding with meticulous attention to detail.  Knowledge of optimization techniques, as well as a background in currency, commodities, or fixed income markets, would be considered a plus.
