Responsibilities will consist of:
- Monitoring risk
- Managing computers and cases with Dell technicians
- Managing inventory
- Troubleshooting desktop issues related to messaging, email, trading, charting, blogging, forum administration
- Cable management
- Monitor arrangement
- Manage battery backups
- Installing and preparing new trader setups
- Home setups for traders
Interpersonal skills required:
- Experience working in a high demand and fast paced environment
- Strong verbal and email communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Able to manage and prioritize given tasks
- Working independently
Work experience required:
- 1 year IT support experience in trading industry
Technical skills required:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Broad technical knowledge of hardware and software
- Experience with level 1 and level 2 desktop support in a Windows XP environment
- Basic TCP/IP networking
- Video cards and Monitors
Education required:
The successful candidate must have formal schooling in Computer Systems.
