Our client, a sizable corporate & retail bank with big presence in Hong Kong and China mainland, is now looking for a high calibre candidate to fill for the following post:

Marketing Communications Head

Responsibilities:

1. Report to business head and supervise a team of marketing staff to achieve business objectives
2. Responsible for the marketing budget & in coordination with internal & external partners
3. Initiate customer & market data analysis; to adopt effective research analytics to study customer behaviors, keep track of latest market changes and draw up competitive tactics/strategic marketing plans
4. Create, organize and implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to effectively promote and position the Bank’s products and services
5. Be involved in brand building projects & strengthen corporate identity, and will manage advertising, co-marketing events with partners and mass product promotions
6. Provide market intelligence for Management to make informed business decisions; also, to give grounded insights when being consulted on marketing issues
7. Strategically integrate promotion, branding, business intelligence and research functions
8. With sufficient research and analysis, to formulate marketing strategies for long-term competitive advantage

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
2. Over 10 years of experience in marketing or business intelligence projects, preferably from banks/financial institutions with a proven track record in marketing and business intelligence project management, preferably in banking & finance
3. Solid working experience in driving marketing initiatives and delivering effective marketing strategy
4. Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to handle multi-task, able to work under pressure and tight schedule
6. Creative, dynamic, responsive to changes and good leadership
7. Must be fluent in both English and Chinese
