This leading global financial services firm is looking to secure a new Information Security Analyst. Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the Information Security Analyst will act as the primary security expert and will be responsible for providing advisory and consultancy services to the business divisions in order to improve the security control environment and minimise the risk and impact of information security threats and vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the information risk management framework within the designated business divisions.
- Enforcing and monitoring Information Security policies, standards and best practices.
- Establishing overall planning for security operating model process implementation
- Performing risk assessments of internal and external Information Security threat environments.
- Analysing and approving any changes to the IT environment supporting the division.
- Security incident management and ensuring Root Cause Analyses are delivered.
- Audit issue management and resolution and vulnerability management.
- Ensuring IPOP’s and appropriate websites have penetration tests undertaken by the security team.
- Undertaking access control administration reviews including privileged accounts and emergency envelopes.
- Ensuring appropriate information security awareness training is delivered across the division.
- Managing information security across relevant local outsource partners.
- Supporting the investigations team, providing IS expertise and facilitating the delivery of forensic services.
Key requirements include:
- 4-5 years experience within an IT security environment, ideally within the banking/financial services sector.
- Proven risk management and process methodology experience.
- Diligent, hands on and proactive approach.
- Excellent English language, interpersonal and influencing skills.
