Our client is an expanding European Bank with a strong presence in Asia. Due to business growth, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the Financial Risk & Control.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible to develop and implement a framework which ensures a robust and effective internal control environment is in place. You will monitor and report on the adequacy or any deficiency of controls in mitigating financial and operational risk. In addition, you will also ensure the compliance of the Group Financial Control Policies and enhance existing processes to close control gaps. You will conduct on-going internal control reviews and develop metrics to measure related risk.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• University degree with a professional accounting qualification
• At least 6 to 8 years relevant experiences in audit, internal control, operational risk in banking industry
• Big 4 trained together with 3 to 5 years experience gained in the Banking highly preferred
• Project management experience highly advantageous
• Good understanding of general banking products & systems (Consumer/Corporate Banking, Treasury, Investment products)
• Excellent presentation skills with fluency in English and Cantonese
