Skills required:

This active UK wide private equity investor has a strong, varied portfolio of investments. It is adding to its dedicated portfolio management resource with the appointment of a portfolio director in the North West. The successful individual will be responsible for maximising shareholder value by driving growth and realising returns through active involvement with the businesses. This will be a highly intensive, results driven role in a demanding environment.

To be successful in this role you will have gained the following skills and experience during a successful career:

• Board level experience, ideally as CEO or FD of a growing business
• Non-executive or executive director experience gained in a number of companies, ideally private equity or institutionally funded
• Demonstrable added value in these board positions
• Private equity experience, ideally as an investor
• Corporate finance, M&A , IPO or turnaround experience would also be useful

• Able to build great working relationships inside and outside of the business

You will work out of the Manchester office and need to be based in the North West to do this role well.
