As part of their strategic growth plans for 2010, they are seeking to make up to four additional appointments to their London-based team.
Senior Consultant
This is a pivotal appointment for our client as the successful individual will have a key role to play in growing the business both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will have a solid background in executive search or a strong desire to move from a quality-driven and consultative contingent environment to one which is more research focussed and mandate driven. A comprehensive understanding and successful search/recruitment track record in Renewable Energy, Cleantech, Carbon and/or Environmental Markets is essential. Experience in building and maintaining successful business relationships is essential as is a natural flair for business development, strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a highly consultative style. Over time the successful individual should see their career advance into either a senior team leadership role or account management position. As our client grows, international career opportunities will also open up.
Consultant
In addition to the above senior opportunity our client is also keen to appoint a further consultant to its team. It is likely this individual will have a lower level of experience in executive search/ recruitment with some experience in these markets. However this individual will have a strong desire to establish themselves further in the above markets and demonstrate the potential to develop their career dealing at a senior level.
Senior Research Associate
Our client is very focussed on building their Research Centre of Excellence within the Environmental Markets and is seeking two research professionals (one senior, one junior) to develop its offering further. The successful candidates will have previous executive search/recruitment research experience; strong candidate sourcing/identification skills; a strong desire for knowledge; and experience of working within one of the above sectors. Both candidates will be highly organised; used to working within and meeting deadlines; be quality conscious; have strong written and verbal communication skills; an analytical mind; good IT skills and strong knowledge of the above markets.
Our client insists that all researchers are client facing hence strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities include;
* Assisting with and playing a direct role in client presentations and the management of relationships;
* Sourcing, profiling and interviewing candidates;
* Liaising with and assisting senior search professionals with the execution of search assignments;
* Production of research documents and management of research projects;
