Role Summary

Reporting into the Portfolio & Workout Leader of GE Capital Italy, you’ll be integral in driving the restructuring of substandard loans with the help of your team, as well as leading workout activities to analyze problems, driving new solutions & implementing action plans. You will also be responsible for managing your assigned portfolio to ensure minimum defaults, through proactively restructuring and implementing high quality solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Mitigate the losses on delinquent/distressed accounts through negotiating restructuring and leading the different workouts.

• Allocate the different workout assignments to your team & then review their resolution strategies and write-ups, and oversee the documentation of transactions.

• Develop innovative resolution strategies and recommendations always staying within the department guidelines. Prepare the formal credit write-ups and present the transactions for approval.

• Negotiate the resolution strategies with borrowers, franchisors and other interested parties. Together with the legal counsel structure and negotiate non-bankruptcy restructure transactions.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years business experience most likely in underwriting/account management, restructure, turnaround, and workout experience.

• Demonstrable experience in interpreting financial performance, assessing risk exposure, conducting loan restructures, and recommending risk decisions.

• Solid experience performing loan restructures litigation and bankruptcy initiatives, deal documentation and financial analysis.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills and fluency in English & Italian.

You’ll need to thrive working in a fast paced multinational business and preferably have experience working in matrixed environment. You’ll also have strong leadership, interpersonal skills, personal gravitas and energy.
