In this role you will be expected to capitalise on your extensive background and experiences to provide advice and direction to the business. You will be extensively involved in supporting capital market activities and M & A transactions. You will be responsible for managing the business process and setting financial controls and methodologies and ensuring that they are followed. In addition it is expected that you will closely follow performance against agreed operating budgets, undertake thorough reviews of financial performance and ensure that any necessary action is taken promptly.

Our client also expects you to establish and manage the Treasury function, providing sufficient capital and liquidity to each business line as necessary to ensure continued organisational growth. To this end it is essential that you have existing relationships with major banks in the region to facilitate financing opportunities for our client. You will oversee the Finance team to ensure that they produce accurate and timely reports and audits as well as strict adherence to the necessary accounting standards.

Directly reporting into the CEO you will also present to shareholders and board members on the financial and business performance of the Group. You will also assume responsibility as the company’s key relationship figure for investors and external analysts.

This is a Senior Level position and successful candidates must have an outstanding employment track record. Candidates should already be performing the role of CFO or Financial Director in order to be considered. Strong preference will be given those already living and residing in the UAE.
