• Manages own portfolio of Middle Market borrowing accounts.
• Independently generates credit and noncredit opportunities in the market through cultivation of prospects, and networking with referral sources.
• Appropriately structures and recommends complex credits for approval.
• Executes transactions quickly and efficiently.
• Proactively identifies and manages deteriorating credit situations.
• Demonstrates extensive credit and non-credit product knowledge.
• Supports other lines of business by cross-selling the banks products and services.
• Effectively manages competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet goals and objectives.
• Employs market/competitor awareness in relationship communication and business development opportunities.
• Perform other duties, as assigned, which fall within scope of responsibility.
Knowledge:
• Demonstrated ability to attract and retain new clients, develop customer relationships and cultivate referral sources.
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of the competitive arena with established industry-wide contacts
• Completion of Formal Credit Training Program
Experience Needed:
• A minimum of five to ten years of Middle Market Banking experience including lending and business development.
Education Required:
• Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Finance/Accounting/Economics. MBA Desirable
