FID IT (Rates IT) is looking for a Project Manager to be based in Singapore.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
• BOW / project management, including conflict/dependency resolution
• BOW / project reporting (define, collect, monitor and analyze metrics: cost, time, quality, risk, testing, communication, etc. )
• managing external dependencies / intersects
• resource management
• driving delivery , not just passive tracking (influencing/driving others, problem solving, etc.)
• process improvement, particularily in CoE context
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
Essential
• previous experience in PMO or program management
• used formal PM methodology
• investment banking experience
• proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel
Desired
• exposure to formal process transformation methodology
• formal PM qualification
• financial tracking
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in a multi-cultural setting and to senior management
• Personal excellence - learner and self-starter
• Delivery oriented
Rates IT is responsible for developing and supporting IT solutions for the IB's Fixed Income Division. Our remit is Front Office trading systems, such as pricing engines, exchange connectivity, automated and algorithmic trading, booking systems, blotters, position keeping, P&L, risk and analytics components. We have a global client base of trading desks and a wide product coverage ranging from government, EMG and credit bonds, repo, listed derivatives and swaps to inflation and credit risk instruments.
The team in the Singapore is now Rates IT's largest development and support group, with over 30 staff. We are looking for a project manger who will work in a PMO role to help improve the project management processes by giving guidance to the existing project managers and tracking the overall team against targets.
