Our client are a global investment bank.  They are currently undertaking a program of work to build new applications for their commodity derivatives trading desk. 

You will be involved in the build of new functionality for the trading systems that cover the full trade lifecycle as well as the event management of physical and financial commodities.  The role will involve end to end design, development and testing.

Requirements:-

• Candidates must possess the following skill set:-
• Strong server and client side development using C# / .NET
• At least 5 years experience in software development using Object Orientated techniques
• Realtime, multi-threaded systems design and development experience
• Experience working with relational databases, Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of XML

Nice to Have:-

• Front office investment banking development experience
• Derivatives knowledge
• Commodities trading technology knowledge
• Java
