Our international client is a leading player within the technology space and contrary to sustained equity market weakness is in a resilient position. Share price is on the path to recovery and the business is continuing to invest significantly in product innovation and business growth.

The role:

Working closely with the CFO and CEO, to lead and manage the implementation and co-ordination of the company’s investor relations strategy with the goal of establishing and maintaining a favourable image of the company with its key stakeholders including investors, potential investors and the media.

Overview of responsibilities:

• Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Investors and acting as a principal point of contact for equity analysts.

• Establish and maintain a detailed knowledge of ongoing business issues and transactions in order to contribute proactively to the IR strategy.

• Responsible for preparing and commenting on the quarterly results and participate in formulating a financial and analyst communication consensus and strategy with the investors, in positioning the company and its results.

• Analyse sell-side financial models and assess broker reports on the Company and sector.

• Attend and prepare presentations and hand-outs for road-shows and investors meetings, and undertake one to one interviews, press conferences and press interviews.

• Manage all publications related to the quarterly results of the Company with the support of the Corporate Marketing department.

• Actively raise the company’s profile in the financial media, working in collaboration with the company’s Financial PR agency.

• Plan and organise investor and analyst events, like product teach-ins and networking breakfasts.

• Manage overall business and operational related assignments and projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience within an international and fast moving environment; like Equity Research, IR for another listed company or in a Financial Communications consultancy.

• Strong analytical background in Finance (ACA or CFA desirable).

• Good model and database building skills in Excel.

• Awareness of market developments and have a vision for where the market is going in the future.

• Excellent command of English. Additional languages are an advantage.  

• Self starter capable of taking ownership for whole projects with minimal day to day supervision.

• Stress resistant, ability to work under time pressure, team-player, proactive.
