Our client is a sovereign wealth manager with a large real estate portfolio globally. Working with their Japanese business they now require experience real estate researcher to join the investments team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining property and capital market information related to Japan and disseminating such information within the organization
• Preparing market or similar studies, analysis and forecasting across all property sectors
• Assembling and interpreting economic and industry data and trends
• Developing a network of contacts for the sourcing of reliable market information

Requirements:

• Degree in Real Estate, Economics and/or Finance
• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency   in   softwares   such as Excel and Powerpoint, and understanding of database management
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively with data providers and consultants
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Analytical   skills   and   ability   to   understand and interpret macroeconomic conditions and
